HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

The Inclusive Ministry Training Program

Most ministry leaders don't need more ideas. They need a clear path — start here, do this next.

That's what this program is. Nine modules in a set order that take you from "our church has no plan for this" to a ministry that runs on intentional systems.

You won't finish with a folder of resources. You'll finish with a ministry that supports all students.

Who this is for

This program is built for you if...

You've been asked to start a special needs ministry and don't know where to begin.

You have students with disabilities showing up already, and you're improvising every Sunday.

Your volunteers want to help but nobody has trained them.

You are struggling to adapt lessons for students with significant learning needs.

Who this isn't for

It's probably not for you if...

You're looking for a one-time download. This is a program you work through.

You're looking for a quick fix. Our program focuses on developing systems that will sustain your ministry for years to come.

 Here's how it works

Four simple steps to a thriving ministry

Step 01

Enroll and Audit

Start with the Inclusive Ministry Audit. You'll know exactly where your ministry stands and what to focus on first.

Step 02

Build Your Plans and Systems

Modules 1–4 walk you through strategy, logistics, biblical foundation, and your volunteer team. You'll build real system documents as you go, not just take notes.

Step 03

Learn Evidence Based Strategies

Develop the skills and knowledge needed to support students with disabilities on a Sunday morning. Train your volunteers on the strategies.

Step 04

Share the gospel

Teach with adapted curriculum that's ready to print. Support students with strategies that hold up on a hard morning.

You're not the only one carrying this alone...

  • Starting a disability ministry from scratch, with no roadmap and no budget.

  • Handing volunteers a name tag and hoping for the best.

  • Freezing when a student escalates, because nobody taught you what to do.

  • Rewriting lessons every week for students who can't access the curriculum your church already uses.

  • Carrying the whole ministry yourself, and wondering how long you can keep it up.

What you'll walk away with

  • A written ministry plan with goals, next steps, and a launch timeline
  • A volunteer pipeline — recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention, all documented
  • Documented systems so your ministry can thrive through each season and changes in leadership
  • A family intake process you can hand to someone on their first visit
  • A clear response for challenging behavior
  • A deeper understand of how to effectively share the gospel with students with disabilities
  • Adapted Bible curriculum ready to teach, including for non-speaking students
  • A ministry that keeps running the Sunday you're not there

Alisha

I was first exposed to the wonderful resources and knowledge Lexi brings to the table while scrolling instagram! I just knew that as I started an Inclusive Ministry, I wanted to be a part of whatever Lexi was creating. The resources, downloads and adapted books have really pushed the way not only myself, but my leader see how our ministry impacts families. I can’t thank you enough for trailblazing the road for Inclusive ministry!

Kristin

I think the greatest benefit of my Adapted Way membership is just knowing that I am not alone. Knowing that there are so many others in different stages of developing the Special Needs Ministry that the Lord has laid on their hearts is such a gift. The lessons and resources have also given me a place to start with confidence. I am so grateful.

Sydney

I have loved being a part of The Adapted Way [Membership]. I still have so much to learn about such a wide range of disabilities and have so appreciated all the information I have been able to learn so far. Every time I get to spend time working through the material, I feel a step closer to understanding how our ministry can help incorporate and best serve those with disabilities within our church and ministry.

I have loved being a part of The Adapted Way [Membership]. I still have so much to learn about such a wide range of disabilities and have so appreciated all the information I have been able to learn so far. And that is despite being so far behind on the modules as they have come out! But every time I get to spend time working through the material, I feel a step closer to understanding how our ministry can help incorporate and best serve those with disabilities within our church and ministry.

We have a fairly small children's ministry still, so I have really appreciated whenever the lessons incorporate ways that we can include our students with disabilities and help them feel a part of our small classes, rather than assuming we are able to have a separate room or class dedicated to their needs.
